For the eight days of Hanukkah, a 32-foot-tall menorah lights up New York City's midtown. For the rest of the year, the world's largest menorah is stored in a workshop that makes garbage chutes and is owned by a Catholic man. But storing and fixing up the menorah is good business for its owner. It brings in $40,000 a year in setup costs. We followed the journey of New York City's menorah to see why it's set a trend for giant Hanukkah lightings across the globe.
